Mini Duct Hunter

Precision Locating for Small Conduits.

The Mini-Duct Hunter™ by Jameson is a traceable duct rodder specifically designed for locating and mapping underground ducts and pipes with diameters ranging from ½ inch to 1½ inches. This tool is particularly valuable for utility professionals in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas, where precise underground utility mapping is essential for safe excavation and construction activities.

The Mini-Duct Hunter™ features a detectable fiberglass rod that incorporates a 22 AWG copper trace wire, enabling detection at depths of up to 10 feet. When the rod is energized with a signal transmitter and inserted into a non-conductive pipe, the emitted signal can be traced from above ground using a signal receiver. This capability allows technicians to accurately determine the pipe's path and depth without invasive procedures, enhancing efficiency and reducing the risk of damaging existing utilities.

Available in various lengths and diameters, the Mini-Duct Hunter™ can be tailored to specific project requirements. For instance, the 3/16-inch diameter rod is suitable for pipes between ½ inch and 1½ inches in diameter, with lengths up to 300 feet. The system includes an accessory kit with components such as a splice ferrule, end ferrule, and pulling eye to facilitate various locating tasks.

For utility professionals in the southwestern United States seeking reliable underground utility locating solutions, TecSolutions Consultants offers the Mini-Duct Hunter™. Serving Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas, TecSolutions provides advanced technology and dedicated support to meet regional utility detection needs.
